SO GLAD YOU'RE HERE

MY STORY

As a preacher and teacher's kid, I spent a lot of time in church and school activities. I found creative ways to be engaged from my seat in the pews and often taught friends as a way of solidifying my own learning. These things often led to drawings of images that I thought represented the message of the sermon or unofficial lesson planning to put things in my own words and make things teachable.

I have since been able to  focus on developing my skills and learning new ways to not only express thoughts on ministry, worship, and learning, but put them into practice.

When I decided to pursue my passions I discovered that my deeply rooted passion is for others to thrive and come to know more what it is to love Jesus and truly be a Christian.

I am excited about what God is doing and look forward to our journey together.

WHY START A NON-PROFIT?

My abilities got me started and have been a saving grace time an again. Yet, with every creative effort I couldn't do it alone. The best of times came from doing new and innovative things with others. I could have started a business for myself and done "all the things" for myself, but with the accountability of a board of directors and other checks and balances of support that can be folded into such an entity, I feel this lends to practicing the overarching purposes in practice that are highlighted throughout the contents of Cross Vocational resources.

The people in my life have made all the difference. I hadn't always recognized or remembered this. But now, I am being very intentional of living into my passions and not going it alone.

With this company I believe we can support the work of all in Christian ministry and truly change the world. We all need help to play our part and I hope that this becomes a hub for many of us to do this together.

MY VALUES

I'll sum this up with a hand full of phrases I teach my children.

It is my prayer that whatever we do together leads to each of us living Cross Vocational lives. May Christ be the light of our lives, life moments be impacted by our ministries, ministry work fold into our day-to-day work, and all that we are and all that we do be pleasing to God. Amen.
